All Pinterest Image Sizes (Updated March 2026)

Pinterest is a vertical-first platform. The feed is a masonry grid of tall pins, so vertical images dominate visually and get more engagement. Standard pin ratio is 2:3, but taller pins up to 1:2.1 are allowed.

Text overlays on pins are common and expected — Pinterest is as much a search engine as a social platform. Readable, keyword-rich text on a visually appealing background performs best.
