Pinterest Standard Pin dimensions at a glance
Standard pins at 1000×1500 (2:3 ratio) are Pinterest's sweet spot — tall enough to dominate the feed grid but not so tall that they get truncated with a 'see more' cutoff.
Pinterest's masonry grid rewards vertical images. A 2:3 pin takes up significantly more visual space than a square or landscape image, driving more saves and clicks.
Square or landscape pins look tiny in the vertical grid. Pins taller than 1:2.1 get truncated, hiding your CTA or key visual behind a click.
